RIP African Sumac

African Sumac, you were a great tree. I'm sorry I couldn't brush the snow off of you. I'm so, so sorry about that.
Goodbye.

I hope that you liked me.

Snow in Vegas

Yes, the valley got snow. Weird, I know. Not over here in Hendo...unfortunately. The west side got some...we got nothing. BUT, the mountains were pretty. So I took some pictures.

There was an empty Smirnoff bottle chilling on the ground right next to where I parked.

I figure only Basic people will have any emotion regarding a Smirnoff bottle and The B in the same picture.

Also...has anyone seen this type of bird before?

It showed up randomly on my wall.

Cemetary

Mike was giving me snow driving lessons on the first snow of the year, and we saw this cemetary. I stopped and we got out, went and took pictures. You'll have to forgive me, though, because I was dressed just in sweats so I was freeeezzing. It's impossible to focus when you're that cold. So this is the result.

Mirror Lake.

From Wikipedia:
Mirror Lake is a small lake on the campus of The Ohio State University in ColumbusOhioUnited States. Historically, the lake was spring-fed, but the spring dried up in the 1920's. The water source was subsequently provided by the city of Columbus municipal water supply.[1] It is a tradition at the University for students to jump into the lake at midnight on the Thursday night prior to the annual football game between theOhio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines.

Sugar Gliders

Okay, my mom wanted to see a few pictures and they were too big to send via email so I uploaded them instead. The first two are of Ranger, the second two are Nika, and the last two are from the Penn State game.

Obama Rally

I went to the Obama rally back when he was in Vegas, like two weeks ago. I was seated behind him so my only decent pictures of him were of his backside. Therefore, I am going to spare Senator Obama and upload pictures that didn't have his behind in them.
[edit] I highly suggest clicking on the first picture. You can't really see all of it unless you blow it up.

Camping

I feel like it's been a while.
Here are some pictures I took camping. No real story behind them.

Lake

Went to the lake and the marina with Michelle for kicks. Took some pictures. Nothing fantastic, but it was fun.

Dell.

My computer took a really big crap, so sorry for the lack of updates. I had some pictures from the Ohio State Fair, but those are currently on my computer, which cannot be revived. In fact, Dell agrees that the thing sucks, so they're sending me a new one. Hope it gets here soon...

Mom, please don't kill me because of this update.

Alright, so I went on a run today. I'm very out of shape. When I got back I walked a bit, stretched a bit, and sat on the couch for a bit. When I got up from the couch, my calves were SO TIGHT...owww. So I asked Mike if he would like to go on a walk so I could loosen my legs up. I took my camera and we walked to campus (across the street). Mike suggested we see if any buildings were open. None of them are supposed to be...theyre all key-card after hours. But sure enough, Smith Lab was open.
(Don't worry Mom, I had my mace and we were being safe.)

We started out in a couple of the lecture halls (in case you can't tell, this building is really, really old).

We then went upstairs. The picture below scares me, and I took the darn thing. Enlarge it if you get the chance, Mike is touching the glass. It creeps me out.

We then moved on to some rooms that are being...I don't know, renovated or something? They were mostly cleaned out but random crap was everywhere. Btw, who the heck leaves OPEN beakers of RANDOM chemicals on the counter in a room that's being renovated??

This was a creepy hallway thing that apparently goess between the rooms, probably used for wiring and heating and such. The doors were half the size of normal doors, and I refused to go in there but mike went to the room across this little hall thing, into a room loaded with chemicals, as can be seen here.

Like I said, mostly empty.

And I'll let you think about this last one.

Hope you enjoyed.
